Festival of Russian Culture will celebrate its 5th year and will be held from Sunday the 23rd of February till Sunday the 2nd of March.

The Festival has been a considerable success, notably the extensive range of cultural and entertainment activities attracting significant interest from both Irish and Russian communities, and it has established a strong reputation with both the Irish and Russian community here and abroad. In addition the festival has huge success generating a substantial amount of national and local press and radio coverage.

The aim of the festival is to promote Russian culture. The festival also provides an opportunity for people of Dublin and visitors to get a taste of Russian art and music, traditions and cuisine.

The week-long festival is made up of multiple free events and is designed to appeal to people of all ages, and to increase knowledge of Russian culture within Ireland. The festival guarantees a high degree of exposure for companies looking to make direct contact with desirable target audiences.

The festival events will include a concert of Russian classical music in the Hugh Lane Gallery, public lectures, talks, literary and poetry evenings, art exhibitions, chess competition, students quiz, business breakfast, open day and gala evening in the Trinity College and many more. The festival will traditionally conclude with the Family Day on Sunday the 2nd of March and will include Russian plays for children, arts and crafts market, choirs and gymnasts performances and a gala concert in the evening.
