Web Summit, Ireland’s Largest Tech Start-up Event

On October 30th and 31st the founders of Palantir, Box, Skype, Evernote, Vice, WordPress ,Gilt, Hailo, Stripe, RapGenius and Tony Hawk joined over 200 other speakers and almost 10,000 attendees at Europe’s largest tech startup event, the Dublin Summit.

What began as a 200 person tech event, featuring the founders of Youtube, Skype and Twitter just two and half years ago, has since morphed into the largest gathering of startups in Europe with companies from more than 90 countries.

Among them were 15 Russian startups, such as Buy me a Pie, Angeo Travel, Flocktory, etc. Full list www.websummit.net.

Web summit also attracted visitors from the leading Russian ICT companies. Kaspersky, Yandex, Mail.ru, MegaLabs (Megafon), Ostrovok, Angstrem, laModa and many more were engaging and talking to the young entrepreneurs in a search of the new smart ideas.

Journalists from the Russian media – Business FM and TV channel Dozhd daily reported home about the event.
